Privacy policy

The Daily Lesson is a free daily podcast companion. This page describes everything we collect and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect. Your email address, if you sign up for the daily email. Your mobile phone number, only if you choose to add it for the optional afternoon text reminder — along with a record of your consent (the date and time, the network address the signup came from, and the exact consent language you agreed to). Standard delivery analytics, such as whether an email bounced. Nothing else.

What we use it for. Sending you the daily lesson email and, if you opted in, one practice-reminder text per day. That is the entire use. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely to send the reminder you asked for, through our messaging provider, and is deleted on request.

Who processes it. Email is delivered by Kit (ConvertKit LLC), text messages by Twilio Inc., and our website and database run on Cloudflare Inc. Each acts only as a service provider for the purposes above.

Leaving. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text to end texts immediately. To have your data deleted entirely, email hello@thedailylessonpod.com and we will remove it.

Questions belong at the same address. If this policy ever changes, the change and its date will appear on this page.
